Pretty close, huh?
Other than all of that creative genius, things have been pretty quiet around here, just getting all of the loose ends tied up. We (Kevin) set up the new crib, which by the way, Lola has taken quite a liking to:
We also took a couple of baby classes at Hoag Hospital. Here is Kevin with our "practice daughter":

Already such a loving father.
We've also been trying to spend some quality time with each other before being alone together becomes a distant and hazy memory. Kevin and I have Disneyland passes which allows us to go every couple of months for a few hours and walk around and eat a churro or six. Well, we attempted this a couple of weekends ago, thinking that this might be our last chance to go before I get so big that I can't fit in the car any more. Although, now that I think about it, if we got me a wheelchair, we wouldn't have to stand in those long lines for Space Mountain, or Big Thunder Railroad like last time. Boy, was that rough at 6 1/2 months.
We parked at Downtown Disney like we normally do, to escape paying the Happiest Parking Fee On Earth and began the trek towards the theme parks. But before we even reached the front gate I think I had stopped to use the restroom, oh...about two dozen times. And quickly realized that my abundant bathroom trips might not be conducive to walking around a giant amusement park. So we decided it was time to head home. But we can't wait to come back with Lillie in a few months when she is old enough so that I can give her her first churro to gnaw on while sitting on Mommy's lap on the Matterhorn.
*No, I have not actually ridden Space Mountain, or Big Thunder Railroad since being pregnant. And I only went on The Indiana Jones ride once.

Nicole, you may be to young to remember Irma Bombeck, but she wrote about everyday motherhood/family stuff and was hilarious. You could definitely be the next humor columnist for any newspaper in Amrerica. And that is not a biased dad speaking!
