Work in progress

Last weekend we painted the room that has officially gone from "the office" to "the nursery".


Against Kevin's better judgment, I donned a painters mask and pitched in. (Yes, I cleared this with my doctor first.)


Lola was none too thrilled that we were messing with HER room. But I think she'll come around.


We waited until the day before the baby shower to get started, so poor Kevin was up until the wee hours of the night/morning trying to get things finished so that I had a place to put the piles of baby things that were headed our way.


We decided on a nice shade of green that will go nicely with all of the pink things that are sure to dominate our lives for the next few years.
