Baby Shower
My wonderful Mothers (My Mom, Step-Mom, and Kevin's Mom) threw me a beautiful baby shower a couple of weeks ago. So many of my friends and family were there to celebrate, and I hope that Lillie could feel all of the love that was there for us that day. Thank you to everyone who made that day so very special.

Work in progress
Last weekend we painted the room that has officially gone from "the office" to "the nursery".
Against Kevin's better judgment, I donned a painters mask and pitched in. (Yes, I cleared this with my doctor first.)
Lola was none too thrilled that we were messing with HER room. But I think she'll come around.
We waited until the day before the baby shower to get started, so poor Kevin was up until the wee hours of the night/morning trying to get things finished so that I had a place to put the piles of baby things that were headed our way.
We decided on a nice shade of green that will go nicely with all of the pink things that are sure to dominate our lives for the next few years.
